VRFocus - Last week it was revealed that Ocean Rift, an underwater exploration title from indie developer Llyr ap Cenydd would be coming to Samsungs Gear VR smartphone-based virtual reality (VR) head-mounted display (HMD) along with the Oculus Rift version. The title was one of the first to be revealed for the new device, which was announced at Samsungs Unpacked event in Berlin, Germany. Now the first footage for that experience has arrived, and can be seen below.

Oculus VR, the company responsible for the resurgence in virtual reality, has hinted it is working on a bespoke games controller to better complement its Rift headset.

Palmer Luckey, the 21 year-old founder of Oculus VR, believes that traditional games controllers are not ideal input devices for virtual reality.

"I don’t think [game controllers] are necessarily the right input for rich interactions in VR," Luckey told
